BeefEater Barbecues
One of the international contenders is a company by the name of BeefEater, an Australian company that has been around since 1984. The tag line for their products is “It’s a barbecue, not a grill”. Here is their differentiator, most folks consider the process of cooking outside as grilling and the event is the barbecue, which grilling is a component of.
They are selling an experience and after reviewing the product line I would have to agree. They take an aggressive approach to technologies and the use of top quality components and tout that they use only the top of the line stainless, steel, cast iron and porcelain materials and processes.

The Beefeater Discovery
series comes in a choice of 2, 3, 4 or 5 burner units. Each of these units can be ¬set into an open style trolley base. The base units are comprised of high quality steel and the 2 side shelves are constructed of commercial grade stainless steel.Each of the units contains a welded BBQ frame that is coated with a hygienic porcelain finish.
A newer release by Beefeater is the discovery plus model. In addition to the above features, the plus sports an enclosed trolley base with doors, one of the shelves contains a 12,000 btu single burner, the hood is a double insulated stainless roasting cover and the 3 and 4 burner units have a fold down front shelf.
All of the beefeater products are made with beefeaters rust free cooking plates, closer proximity burners, 3 inches from cooking surface, quartz start technology that is built into the burner knobs for ease of use operations. The starter pins are coated with a titanium finish for long-lasting performance.
Each burner is independently controlled and the control knob assemblies are all housed in well ventilated stainless steel housing.
The stainless steel vaporizers eliminate the need for lava or ceramic briquettes. Drippings are vaporized on contact, reducing flare-ups and the need for briquette replacement.
The standard warranty covers 2 years on the porcelain coated steel frame and cooking plates. All other items are covered by a comprehensive warranty plan as well. Beefeaters carries an array of accessories as well.
